Raising mountains

What the Rav said:

When a person prays with intention, he should also pray for all of Am Yisrael.

Before we do a mitzvah, or we say Tikkun HaKlali, we say “B’shem kol Yisrael” (for the sake of all Am Yisrael).

A person needs to consider how he can raise up all of Am Yisrael with his mitzvah, with his prayer, with his learning.

Even if I am the lowest in the world.

On the contrary, when a person who is the lowest raises himself up, then everyone who is above him is automatically gets raised up with him.

I may be the lowest, but if I start to raise myself up, then everyone will be raised.

My thoughts:

Kol Yisrael Arevim Ze Mi Ze’ – all of Am Yisrael are connected to each other.

What each of us does affects the entire nation.

From what the Rav is explaining, we see that even the lowest of us has great power to raise up the entire nation.

Nuff said.
