What the Rav said:
Before Shacharit [the morning prayers], think about some miracle or Divine Providence which Hashem has done for you, and that way you’ll pray with more Emuna.
My thoughts:
Prayers sometimes feel repetitive. And, morning prayers are more difficult to concentrate on if we’re tired, or thinking about the day ahead.
Here the Rav gives a wonderful, and simple, piece of advice.
On the way to davening, whether you’re walking or in your car, take two minutes to think about a time when Hashem did you a kindness, or where you really saw His presence in your life.
Like the Rav says, your morning Shacharit will be completely different!
